Children's Comfort Team

At the Utrecht Children's Comfort Team (KCTU), nurse specialists and pediatric nurses from the Princess Máxima Center and the Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital work together with pediatricians, psychologists, child life specialists, social workers, a spiritual counsellor and the care coordination office.

The team ensures good coordination between you and the care providers at home and in the hospital. They also listen carefully to your wishes and expectations. This helps your child receive the right care and can prevent unnecessary hospital admissions.

The team will always reach out if it becomes clear that a child cannot be cured.
