The department that supports realizing societal impact of knowledge developed by the Princess Máxima Center.
The Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO) is a department that supports scientists by initiating and negotiating research collaborations with external parties, such as (academic) institutions, companies and subsidy providers. The KTO protects and manages the intellectual property created within the Princess Máxima Center and facilitates the translation of scientific discoveries into technological and clinical applications. The KTO currently consists of 3 Business Developers and 4 Legal Counsels who work closely together.
