  At the Máxima Center, we train current and future colleagues for a career in pediatric oncology. We do this in part by offering a broad range of internships. Click here for more information about our internship opportunities.

  In addition, there are many opportunities for professionals at the Máxima Center to continue developing and to deepen their knowledge and skills:

  • Professional training programs and specializations, such as pediatric oncology nurse, nurse specialist, physician assistant (PA), or medical specialist

  • PhD tracks in which care and research come together, often in collaboration with the Graduate School of Life Sciences Utrecht and or university medical centers

  • Continuous learning and development through, among other things, workshops, clinical lessons, skills training, conferences, research meetings, seminars, peer consultation, and leadership programs

  The Máxima Center also participates in Utrecht Cancer, with various conferences, workshops, and networking activities.
