Dr. T. (Trijn) Israëls

Mijn primaire taak als kinderarts – oncoloog is de outreach. Dit is onze samenwerking met collega’s en centra in ontwikkelingslanden om ook daar de zorg voor kinderen met kanker verder te verbeteren. Ik werk vooral in Malawi en andere landen in sub-Sahara Afrika; Kameroen, Ghana, Zimbabwe en Ethiopië. Onder andere ontwikkelen we samen aangepaste behandelrichtlijnen en implementeren en evalueren ze middels wetenschappelijk onderzoek.
