As a pediatric oncologist, I specialize in treating children with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and acute lymphatic leukemia (ALL). I accompany children and parents throughout the treatment process, making the diagnosis and treatment plan. I accompany patients both inpatient (during admissions) and outpatient. I also do research on the genetic characteristics of cancer cells of patients for whom there is no longer a standard treatment (ITHER study), in order to use these genetic characteristics for a specific cancer cell-targeted treatment. I am chair of SKION's protocol committee for myeloid leukemia and TMD in Down syndrome and a member of the protocol committees on initial and relapsed AML.
