At the Máxima Center, we want children with cancer to just be kids. We do our best to make sure that the illness and treatment have as little impact on their daily lives as possible. That’s why we offer broad supportive care, such as preventing, treating, or reducing side effects. We support both the child and the family. We encourage exercise and healthy eating, prevent and treat infections, pain, and stress, and provide distractions. The quality of life of the child and family is always our top priority.
