Pulmonary function test

The purpose of a pulmonary function test is to determine how well the lungs function, how big they are and how much air your child can exhale.
Your child sits on a chair in front of the pulmonary function measuring device with a clip on their nose and a mouthpiece in their mouth. The mouthpiece is connected to the device. The technician always explains to your child what to do.

The test takes about 30 minutes.

The Pulmonary function test card contains more information. Please note this card is currently only available in Dutch.
