Villa Joep

Villa Joep is thé trust in the field of neuroblastoma childhood cancer. Annually 25 to 30 young children in the Netherlands are diagnosed with neuroblastoma. Villa Joep's goal is for all children to be cured of neuroblastoma. Everything they do contributes to this goal. Research on neuroblastoma is a great focus so that the chance of a cure is accelerated and increased.
Villa Joep can regularly be found in the Máxima Center on the second floor. In most cases, Villa Joep uses a consultation room in the hallway where the scans also take place. When one of the volunteers is present, you will recognize it by the large elephant or banner with the Villa Joep logo placed near the consultation room.

At Villa Joep you can find information about neuroblastoma, get acquainted, tell your story or ask a question. Is it difficult for you to leave your child alone in the room and would you like to speak to one of the volunteers? Ask your nurse, medical social worker or medical educationalist if they approach Villa Joep.
