Admission and stay

The Princess Máxima Center has two floors where children can be admitted for one or more days.
On the second floor is the solid tumors department. Here children with cancer in organs, tissues and bones are treated. This floor also houses the neuro-oncology department, where we treat children with a tumor in the brain or spinal cord.

From the second floor, the color bridge connects the Princess Máxima Center with the Wilhelmina Children's Hospital (WKZ) where the operating rooms and intensive care are.

On the third floor is the hemato-oncology department. Here we treat children with cancer of the blood or the immune system and children with bone marrow failure. Here is also the stem cell transplant center.

Both floors have a clinic, day treatment and an outpatient clinic. On each floor there is a central desk where the doctor's assistants sit.
